Tier 2 extension and criminal conviction

Post by helixus » Mon Sep 14, 2015 4:58 pm

I am looking into extending my Tier 2 because my ILR was refused due to a recent criminal conviction (non custodial)

I will of course be declaring this on the form. Could the HO refuse my visa extension as well?

Depends on the conviction, the sentence recieved, your behaviour. what kind of conviction was it?

Shouldn't be a problem I think.

My health service charge for the Tier2 extension has been refunded.

I reckon this means my application has been refused. I called the HO straightaway, who confirmed a recorded letter was sent out to me today but they do not know the contents of it.

Please what do I do now as I am in a state of mad panic with an ongoing job in a country I've lived for over 10 years!

Please help me what do I do
