Absence letter for Tier 2ICT from previous employer

Hi

Currently I am on Tier 2 G visa and moved into this category from WP -> ICT -> ICT Extn and Tier 2 G as explained below. All extensions and applications were made from UK

Work permit : Feb09 to Feb11 (multi entry)
Tier 2 ICT est.staff - feb 2011 to feb2013
Tier 2 extension - Jan2013 to Jun 2014 (change of employment to new sponsor)
Tier 2 General - Jun 2013 to Jul2016

I am planning to apply for ILR in this Feb 2016 counting all the above period however I do have a absence of 110 days in one year between Jul - Oct 2012. I was working for same employer in offshore in that period for 3 mon , was paid offshore and travelled back to UK in the same visa. I can provide evidences for all absences from current employer but I may not get letter from prev employer for absences prior to 2013. Apart from 3 mon (less than 180) absence in 2012 all other absences are less than 10 day for holiday. Please on how to proceed.Can I mention a self written letter.
