Tier-2 ICT to Tier-2 General Dependent

Post by anivijay » Wed Feb 17, 2016 8:47 pm

Hi,
I am on Tier-2 ICT visa and starting my 5th year in the next few days (Visa issued in March 2012). In the meantime, my wife has got a Tier-2 general visa. I have 3 queries

1) Can I convert my visa to Tier-2 general dependent within UK?
2) When I convert, do I need to inform my employer who processed my ICT? Is there any problem if I don't inform?
3) Can my employer apply for ICT after a year from the date I converted my visa to Tier-2 Gen dependent?

Thanks in advance.

Vijay

1. Yes

2. Yes. Some organisations have policies around it and since they are responsible to keep up-to-date records of their employees as A-rated license holder, they (and you as well) may get into trouble if not kept informed.

3. You can. You will need to apply for entry clearance visa from your home country.
