Redundancy and UKBA Privacy

If you are made redundant and your existing employer cancels your COS and you recieve a curtailment

Then if a new employer requests a COS for you from home office do they share your current situation with them

Isnt it against the privacy and breach of DPA if they do?

I personally think they dont disclose as it is not their job responsibility to do so but still want to know

Do home office share your situation with your new employer . I am quite confident they dont but still thought to ask
