Tier2 ICT (Long Term) to Tier 2 General Dependant

Hi Manci,

I'm in Tier2 (ICT) from March 2011 and when I switch to Tier 2 General in that case how my ILR will be calculated?

1)10 years spent in both visa Tier 2 ICT + Tier 2 General = 10 years spent qualify for ILR

OR

2)Tier 2 ICT will not be counted and Tier 2 General only will be calculated for ILR which will be another 6 years spent from the date visa granted

Kindly do clarify me

If you meet the other requirements you will be eligible to apply for ILR in 2021 using either of the two routes but note that the T2G route also has a min. salary requirement.

This is under current rules which may of course change by 2021!
