UK Re-Entry on Tier 2 with valid BRP - Information required

Hi,

I went to UK with ICT Tier 2 long term visa and I have my BRP valid till 31/03/2019 but I have returned to offshore on 16/03/2018 due to some family emergencies. Now I am planning to enter UK for different client position and my COS amendment is done accordingly. I have heard that there are few visa rules changed recently and re-entering after 180 days may create some issue at the port of entry but I am not very sure about it. Please let me know the actual rule and if there is any risk involves in my upcoming trip.
