Hello
I am switching from Tier 4 to Tier 2 (general) applying from within UK using UKVCAS priority service . Currently employed as a graduate engineer, with a 2 year contract( start date- 10/10/18 and end date 09/10/20).
My employer has issued an CoS starting from 7th Jan 2019 to 7th Jan 2022, which is 3 years and 1 day. Even the CoS was issued for 3 years and 1 day - application fee was paid for upto 3 years. Will this be a program ?
In the job description column in CoS - the employer describing the job as "The two year programme combines various placement opportunities with experiential learning, training and personal development". The job description says 2 years programme and for this 2 year contract the employer has issued a 3 year CoS. Will the visa officer issue a 3 year Tier 2 visa for a 2 year graduate engineer contract? Although this graduate role will be transferred to a permanent role at the end of contract.
Had anyone come across similar situations ? if so what was the outcome/ how did you react to this?
I am submitting my employment contract, payslips and tier 2 letter from University( degree certificate not yet received). Is there anytime else I should submit apart from this?
Thanks
