Tier 2 general dependent applicant from different geographies

Hi...

1) Can partner (husband) apply later to switch incountry from Tier 2 ICT to Tier 2 General dependent and have only child apply for T2G dependent visa for now? Reason why both cant apply together is because he already has an active application forr ICT T2 renewal in progress and has to wait for 8 weeks for the decision on that. My employer woulr want to process my T2G visa rightaway along with my child and cant wait till another 8 weeks

2) assuming by some stroke of luck, the timing works out and both (husband and kid) apply together for T2G dependent visas but can one dependent application be from outside UK and one dependent application be from within UK (as he is already in UK on ICT but me and kid outside UK currently)

3) If employer not ready to sponsor visas for both dependents due to costs associated for visas and agrees for only one of them, can the other one be self applied such that we can pay costs from pocket and apply for T2G dependent visa ourselves with Home Office?
