Coronavirus and Travel

Post by Ricos » Thu Apr 23, 2020 9:45 am

I was reading the guidance for "essential travel," and all of the language is in terms of what "British people" should do. I can't seem to find any concrete information relating to what current visa holders are permitted to do. If we find ourselves in the position where international travel from the UK is essential (and possible), is there currently any change to our ability to return to the UK?

If I need to leave now, can I come back?

If you are in the UK and you leave, this is your risk. With this evolving situation with new directives every day, you may or you may not be able to come back in time.

Nobody can tell you "just go and you will be able to come back for sure". Even if you find someone who just did that, it might not be applicable to you as the situation is evolving rapidly.
