Hi guys.
I’m currently holding a tier 5 youth mobility scheme visa and I’m 25 years old. Say an employer now would like to sponsor me a tier 2 visa. Are the following correct?
1. Salary requirements:
I’m under 26. Therefore I only need to meet the new entrant rate even though I’ve been working for 2 years already.
2. Resident Labour market test:
My employer still needs to fulfill this because I do not fall into any exemption such as switching from tier 4 to tier 2.
