Tier 2 ICT Application On Hold Since March

Post by MAWGUKV2020 » Mon Jun 22, 2020 4:16 pm

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone new when they expect to start processing visa applications again? It is a tier 2 ICT transfer visa, applied from the U.S. going to the U.K. I have heard some offices are opening up in the U.K. again, but there is no information from VFS global when the U.S. support centres are intended to open.

I have emailed Sitel who passed me along to the Sheffield Decision Making Centre and the VFS "help"line. They both said that due to COVID and offices being closed my application is on hold.

I submitted and paid all the fees around the 6th of March. I had my biometrics on the 16th of March and sent in my supporting documents and passport to the NY UKVI office that same day. They returned my passport and supporting document with a letter saying due to COVID-19 my application is on hold on the 23rd of March. There was no vignette or anything in my passport. I then got another email from Sheffield Decision Making Centre on the 8th of April that said my application is on hold.

It has been about 3 months and I haven't heard anything else. The start date on my CoS has come and gone (Intended to start the end of April). My employer and I have been waiting to get some information from the UKVI to see if we have to switch the CoS or if they just designate a new start date...

Any information would be greatly appreciated!

Cheers,
Max
