Switching from ICT Tier 2 dependant to ICT tier 2 general

Post by rkry » Wed Jul 15, 2020 7:36 pm

Hi,
Our current ICT dependant visa expired on June 2nd.
Extension applied for both main applicant and dependant on May12.
Still awaiting for appointment slot for biometrics, it is not yet enabled it seems.

My company is sponsoring and have got restricted cos for me (Dependant).
  • now, we beleive there cannot be 2 applications for the same person at home office at the same time(Dependant extension application and Tier 2 general application) hence best way forward is to complete dependant extension request first and then apply for tier 2 general => please correct if this is not the best way forward.
  • Restricted COS is not yet assigned to dependant, please let us know the validaity(90 days) of this COS starts after assigning? or this 90 day validaity has already begun when home office RCOS to company?
We cannot cancel our ICT tier 2 extension request at this moment since application is submitted and fees paid for both applicants together. also since BRP is already expired, we cannot file a new extension.

hence worried whether the COS that we have got will expire before extension request is completed.
