Tier 2 Restricted Visa Holder invest in Property to let

Hi
I am on Tier 2 restricted visa and have purchased a property for myself to live a year ago. However, I intend to purchase another property to rent out now. Hence, wanted to know if I could do this on my current visa status.
Will appreciate any help, advice and guidance on the subject.
