Skilled worker visa for new employer

Post by hw620 » Thu Feb 04, 2021 9:58 am

Hi all,
hope you are doing well and safe.
I have a question about the skilled worker visa as I have visa rejection record in 2016. So I am always worried about new visa application.
Current situation: I have a Tier 2 visa with short occupation position at my university after I graduated from my uni. Now I found a new job. The company said they have submitted the employer sponsor application which should get a result within 10 working days. I gave my starting date on 15th March on the condition of the success of my visa application.

Next step: Once the company receive the sponsor license, then they can issue a COS to me. Their advertisement title is supply chain manager but on the occupation list, the closest one is purchasing manager (job description is similar).

My question is: will this be a problem if my job title (supply chain manager) is different from the one in the occupation list(purchasing manager)?

Anyone can help? thank you so much.

Hope you are all safe
Helen
