Restriction on distance between residence and employer's office

I am currently on a Tier 2 visa and my wife is on a Tier 2 Dependent visa. She has been offered a job 200 miles away from our current city of residence. The employer is ready to provide her with a CoS and relocation benefits.

As a result we will both have jobs with each of us having a Tier 2 / Skilled Worker visa, but our employers will be in different cities, 200 miles away. So, either one of us will have to live at a long distance from the employers office with "work-from-home"/flexible policies. Or is it advisable that both of us rent 2 separate houses closer to our respective offices.

Would this affect any future applications if either of us is not within a certain distance from our employer's office?
