Priority Visa Processing time after Additional Documents

Post by vetrivel » Wed Apr 19, 2023 6:27 am

Hi

One of my friend applied Skilled Worker Visa and completed biometrics recently and received email from UK decision Making Centre the next day asking him to submit English Certificate.

But he is an Australian Citizen and does not need to provide English certificate. Therefore he responded back to the email by attaching his Australian Passport and his UK Master Degree as well as an additional document.

Shall anyone please confirm that whether his application will be processed in 5working days (as he applied for priority) or will it take more time as they asked for additional documents? It is not his mistake only case worker asked this document which is not required in his case as he is Australian Citizen

Is there anyone in the similar situation? Please respond

Was his passport and UK degree not in the application supporting documents uploaded initially?
Previous experiences are mix bags. Some still got decision quickly while others were delayed a bit. Can hope that whit his quick response and supplying evidence it is not delayed.

Hi Amzonian

Thanks for your reply
He already uploaded his Australian passport with his documents

It seems like it's completely UKVI mistake asking him English requirement as he is already an Australian Citizen and exempt from English requirement

Shall you please advise based on your experience how long they take in worst case scenario? Because he applied Priority visa

Best experience was within 5 working days of providing requested document, worst is to ve treated as nor mal application and that could be up to 6 months or more.

Thanks Amazonian again

Only 1 another quick doubt he indicated both GWF and additional document reference VAF no in the subject line of email

I believe this should work or he should have indicated only GWF no in the email?

Looking forward your reply

They hold all records and should be able to identify it for him without problem.
