Switching from Tier 2 Dependent to Skilled Worker sponsored Visa (Tier 2 General)

Hi,
My friend who is in currently Tier 2 Dependent VISA . She is working in UK for last 2 years . And her husband is working in skilled worker visa. Now she got the sponsored skilled worker visa offer from her current company. There are few queries to check here .
If she accepts this sponsored skilled work visa and switched.

1. Her last 2 year stay in UK will it get reset? And her stay will start as new ?
2. Her husband is planning to switch from Skilled worker visa to dependent visa as she is going to be the skilled worker visa ? is this possible ? Again will his stay in UK get reset ?
3. Is there any cooling period? that they need to be out of UK before processing this new sponsored skilled work visa ?
4. And what is the actual switching process ? -
a) Wife is changing from Dependent to Skilled worker visa
b) Once wife changed, husband will change from skilled worker visa to dependent
c) All this can be done from their stay in UK itself ?

1) Yes (unless she wants to get ILR via long residence, 10 years of lawful continuous stay)
2) Yes to both (possible, stay will reset, see above)
3) Not that I know of.
4) Switching can be done in country. They can lodge applications at the same time - husband's application will be kept until wife's is decided.

blueice8549 : an I please have some suggestion from you for my same application as I am a skilled worker mail applicant and my wife just got her skilled worker COZ from a company. Your help would really be much appreciated.

I have applied for the main dependent applicants Skilled visa but for the skilled worker if i apply for the dependene Do I need to freshly apply as a dependent of skilled worker ?
