My cousin came into the UK on a student visa in 2020 but could not complete his course and claimed asylum. He was given the right to work while his asylum case was being reviewed.
Now he in the process of getting a job from a sponsor. My question is, now that switching from a student visa to a work permit is only allowed when you have completed your course, does this still apply to him?even though his has a pending asylum case for almost two years? Does his asylum status supersede his student visa?
