Are minor deviations from COS job description acceptable?

Post by AdamS22 » Wed Jan 10, 2024 11:30 am

Hi All,

I am on a skilled worker visa and work in technology consulting and when I received my COS there were a SOC code (2135 Business Analyst...) and a job description. The job description mentions a specific technology (e.g. Google) but I am being asked to work as a business analyst for a different technology (e.g. Microsoft). My question is, if the new project is still a business analyst role (i.e. falling within the 2135 code) but is slightly different than the job description, is this reportable?

What you have described is not an issue. You are seemingly doing the same activity but just in a different sub section.
