Shortage occupation Job list

Hey guys, I am on 3.5 years work permit, I have recently started working at xxxxx, the time I started working this job was on shortage list and I was allowed to work 20 hours a week (as well as working for my sponsored employer) but later on just a few weeks Home Office have removed that job from Short Occupation List means.

My question is if I am allowed to continue work at this job, I have asked the manager and he said since your contract was signed before the change of short occupation list it means I can continue to work, but I feel his response is a but dull, what if later on Home Office object to this job and refuse my visa extension.

I would appreciate any help regarding this matter, I have sent an email to Home Office as well but as usual there is no reply from them.

Sorry what is SOC code? is that on payslip ??

Did you not fill this SOC code when doing work permit visa application?

if your main and part job have the same code, you can do both legally. If the part time job is in shortage occupation job list, you can also do both
