Please if anyone point me towards a right direction.
I have been in the UK since 2003, currently on IGS visa working in Human Resources for a A- rated sponsored employer for over one year.
As of my maintenance funds issue i cannot apply for an extension as I am heavily overdrawn. I even thought to leave the country before my IGS visa runs out and apply for an extension under Transitional Arrangements (Tier 1 post study work) from my home country. However i have been told that you cannot apply for an extension of IGS from overseas, you have to be in the UK.
I am going to speak to my employer to sponsor me. So lets see if they agree to do so or not! Reading the guidance on HO website it says :
1)Please note, sponsors will only be allowed to certify a migrant’s (and his/her dependants’) maintenance if they are A-Rated when the certificate of sponsorship is assigned.
2)A resident labour market test will not 133. be required where a migrant currently has permission to stay in the United Kingdom under: International graduate scheme.
So my only concern is that i am on a salary of £14k per annum. Do i have to be on minimum of £20k per annum to be qualify for my application, even though my employer is A rated?
Thank you in advance.
