Skilled Dependent Visa - Baby

Post by rioust » Sat Aug 17, 2024 11:19 pm

Hi,

I am applying for Skilled Worker Dependent Visa for my newborn baby in UK. Couple of questions please:

1. I will be applying for his dependent visa based on my current sponsor and COS. Whilst his application is in progress, I will be changing jobs soon (SW Visa switch) and current sponsor/COS will become invalid. Is this going to impact his Dependent visa application? Can I add to a note to his application to mention upcoming COS/job change? Unfortunately baby will turn 3 months so have to apply for his visa asap.

2. Did anyone have to pay the 150% NHS charge for using NHS for the baby after 3 months if visa is not applied/IHS fee not paid? I tried to search in the forum but couldnot see anyone had to pay the amount.

3. Did anyone do recent baby visa applications and are both parents required for the baby photo/biometrics appointment?

Thanks in advance.
