SWV dependant partner application

Hello. I’m switching to SWV within the UK and preparing an application for my wife. We arrived as a family initially on another type of visa, so what should we answer to:

“Do you have permission to stay as [my name] partner?”

I answered “Yes”, but to confirm because googling doesn’t provide a straightforward answer.

There was another question regarding kids applying with the partner, answered No assuming they will have their own applications anyway, and I listed all the dependants in my application; but a bit confused about that one as well if anyone could advise. Thanks!
