Skilled Worked Dependent Visa Extension - Issue with Dates

Hi there,

My wife is currently on Skilled Worker Dependant visa which is expiring on 15th Jan 2025. I, was on a skilled worker visa but got ILR last year in December.

I'm applying to extend my wife's skilled worker dependent visa for another 3 years as its expiring soon. I filled out the application and paid IHS on 1st December 2024. For the section where it asked my visa end date, I entered 2027-12-01 as end date as that's three years from the day I filled the application (also because I don't have end date for ILR).

With 2027-12-01 as 3 years from yesterday's date (when I filled the application), when I went to application fee payment section its asking me to pay £1636 application fees. But from the website (https://www.gov.uk/skilled-worker-visa/ ... h-it-costs) this fees is when applying for more than 3 years.

Since we only need for 3 years, as my wife will qualify for ILR prior to expiry of this 3 year period, what date should I put in to get up to 3 years application fee.

We filled the application on: 1st December 2024
Visa expires on 15 Jan 2025.

I logged in today morning to see if the fee has dropped as now its 2nd December, but its showing £1636 application fees. We are applying from inside the UK.

Could you please help me what end date for up to 3 years should I put if I'm applying today? We don't need more than 3 years visa.
