Employee visa renewal, COS issue

Hello,

My employee's visa is expiring in 1 month and I would like to extend their visa.

This is the first time I am doing this.

I have created a COS and it says "Ready to go" but it has no cos number and I cannot assign it (there is no assign button).

I am not sure if I need to do anything to get option to assign this cos? Can somebody help please?
