need to rectify problem in already submitted application

Post by temi01 » Fri Aug 07, 2009 8:51 pm

i submitted my application for tier 2 work visa yesterday. i just stumbled across this message board and didnt know anything about code of practice e.t.c.

so here is the problem. i just finished unigot a graduate job as a chemical engineer to be paid 23000 a year. the sponsor got a sponsorship number e.t.c. On the code of practice list chemical engineers are suppose to earn 26500 minimum. does this apply to graduate or people with experience? if it applies to graduate what can i do now not to be refused? try to get the employer to offer me a better pay and then send in new supporting document? Please any advice would be helpful. i am really worried now considering i just turned down shells offer from my country crap crap crap.. HELP PLEASE. oh i should also state the job is on the shortage occupation list.. does this help my case in anyway?

the job needs to paid £26500 and if its u job title and description tehn i am sorry to say u application will be in problem. Hav u still got a valid leave before u application for tier 2 or u just switched form student visa to tier 2. If u still got valid leave then perhaps u can withdraw the application and reapply again with correct wages. U employer will aslo needs to cancel the COS if HO has not processed teh application and issue a new one.

Refer to the following link as it explain the procedure involved how to withdraw the application (Page 10). Normally u need to make a request in writing. The fee u paid wud not be refunded.
