Tier 2 general - New Application

Hi Everyone,

I am planning to apply for a tier2 general visa and need one clarification. For English Language, there is a provision to prove the degree is taught in English. Is it enough if the degree appears in the points calculator (can select it)?

Do we need to get an additional "medium of instruction" certificate from the University? I have heard it is submitted by many people.

Or we must pass an English test like IELTS?

I have taken the degree from India.

If the PBS Calculator recognizes your Degree and gives points for english that is more then enough.. you do not need to get medium of instruction certificate..

When you say PBS recognize it, it means I am able to select the degree under the qualification tab, right? Yes, in the summary it gives me 10 points as well after I select it.

If it gives 10points for English Language then you are good to go
