There is only a limited number of COS issued each month and they are rationed based on salary.

You will be very lucky to get a COS with a salary under 30k.

October the cutoff was 32k
November it was 32k
December it was 36k

all i can think is applying without cos when only couple of days left on ur current visa, send cheque instead of paying by card or postal order, this will delay the time when they start looking into ur application. then wait for the COS decision get the cos and send ''change of circumstances form'' with ur COS number. if ur application is rejected before u get cos, u will go into appeal and u can prove ur point there.

based on the data available from previous rejections.... you should be more worried about getting your salary to 36k.. because even if they "consider" your app, you woldn't be awarded cos your salary is less than 36k....

regards

36k is imaginary number i thought up considering how they are steadily increasing salary in past few months....
