Labour Market Test, Is it compulsory?

I'm in Tier 2 General, I have an offer from a company which is
ready to issue the sponsorship. Will they need to go through all the
procedures, like 30 days advertisement and Labour Market Test - compulsory? or can they straight away issue me the CoS?

depends if job is in shortage or not. probably best if u wait till april when new rules come into force.

each job has its ownn requrement which would be made clearer in april
