Sponsor License for a small ltd company

Post by gcsdeep » Thu Apr 07, 2011 12:22 pm

Hi all,

I am a small limited company and have a couple of employees (all on ILR or UK citizen and all are based at client place).

I am now planning to apply for Sponsor License but not sure if it'll be approved or what checks they will carry out.
Here's my situation -
My company address is my home address.
-- I based at client place throughout the week and sometimes Saturday as well. My wife also works, so no one is available to answer any immigration officer for spot checks.
-- My turnover is around 300k
-- I have all the required paperwork required.
-- My company and the operation is genuine...
-- My accounting/book keeping is done by a recognized Accountancy company.

Given the above information, I have the following few questions....
1. Can I apply for the Sponsor license?
2. Do I have to have a separate office where spot checks can be made by the UKBA....?
3. Any more information that I should be aware of.

Appreciate your response on this.

Thanx
Deepak
