Clarity on Tier-2 Requirements for Myself

Hi,

This may be fairly straightforward, so appologies n advance if I am asking a daft question.

I am on Tier-1 (PSW) currently visa expiring 31-Jan-2012. I have been with my current employer since August 2010 (fulfilling more than 6 months requirement). My employer is also licenced to request Tier-2 visas, as I verified from Home Office website recently.

Question A:
I understand if I am transfering from PSW to Tier-2, I do not need to provide evidence of:
- English Language Proficiency (as I studied in the UK) 10 points,
- Maintence Funds (10 points again).
Is this correct ?

Question B:
Am I also correct in believing that I can qualify for Tier-2, as long as I have a CoS from my employer and provide 6 recent months' payslips?

Could someone kindly answer my questions above ?
I also have 2 dependants (spouse + daughter) with me.

In order to answer that question, can you please provide your job title and prospective salary while applying for the visa?

My job title is quite close to IT Technician, and my salary is just above Â£20k. Many thanks for reading.

My salary does not meet minimum requirements. However, am I under the false impression that the salary requirements are ignored when certain other requirements are met ?

Really confused now. Reading from here, it seems that I need to have a salary of Â£20,000 or more to request a Tier-2 Visa:

Read this document carefully.

When you do, you'll note that this document mentions the same criteria as given on the webpage (that you provided link of).
