Post by MJReddy » Thu Oct 13, 2011 11:05 am

i am currently on work permit and got new job with another company. The new employer is ready to sponsor tier 2 visa. i am in a kind of dilemma whether to accept this job because this new tier2 visa will no longer count to ILR. Does this new rules if its in place will it effect me? My ILR is at the end of next year. Can you guys help me on this...Thanks to all in advance

Under current rules, Tier 2 (General) migrants are eligible for settlement as and when they fulfil the specified requirements (245HF).

But no one can tell you what the rules may be in the future!
