Can I stay a month after visa expires? If you cant leave?

It would be so good to just get someone's views. I need a sounding board. I need to not feel so alone

Tier 1 visa expires in Jan 2013 but I know now that I will not qualify for ILR (been out the country for 4 months while on maternity leave)

I also will not have enough money to pay for Tier 1 (its now £3000 for our small family).

The advice that I need: I will have to start over yet again, job and life. Back home. I am thinking, if I have another baby now, I am all done. get on with career

But I know I cant fly when 7 months or more pregnant. What happens if my visa expires before I give brith?

Is there a way I can extent my visa/switch over to visitors/ just for a month, maybe two? can I just overstay, I will not be paid or working anyway?

I am studying. Masters but its distance education and I will graduate in March next year. Dont think that helps.

Please give me your thoughts? Should I just leave now? I seems that everyone hates us migrant anyway....

You shouldn't overstay more than 28 days.
Switching to visitor status is not possible (44(iii)).

You're not even pregnant yet. You have almost a year until your leave expires. Surely you have time to make plans to return home in the event that you do become pregnant whilst it is possible for you to fly. Also you can fly if you are 7 months pregnant if your doctor confirms it is safe for you to do so but the fact that you are not yet pregnant makes this a rather pointless discussion.

Thank you,

Got it. Can stay a week or so more if needs be. But no other options after that.

If I cant fit my plans in the time I have, then it just cant be done.

It is good to know so I do NOT get in trouble :), and it will inform the decisions I make from now on

thanks! cheers
