hi

i live in uk for 8 years and i will be going university in September 2013 and also i applied for ILR.

will i be available for public funds such as student loan, grant etc..

plz someone reply

As per my understanding loans and grants are offered to UK citizens. But you may double check that

As per my understanding loans and grants are offered to UK citizens. But you may double check that
shall i call the UKBA up and ask them or fill the student loan form up and send it ???

Have you got your ILR? If you havent got it yet, you should not have recourse to public funds. Advise to apply only after you secure your ILR.

Speak to student loans company and they will tell you if you are eligible to apply as a permanent resident

the thing is right, i applied for ILR and i waited 3 months. UKBA has not got back to me yet.i'm ganna wait 3 moths more and if they still dont get back to me then i will call them up.

i'm ganna get ILR visa
