Time to get documents back once decision made - TIER 2 Gener

Hello Everyone,

I have submitted my Tier 2 General (Shortage Occupation) VISA application in Germany on 10th April 2017. Last week (26th april'17) I enquired about the status of my application and was informed that my Application has been processed and decision has been made.

Till now , I didn't receive any update from UKVI or VISA application centre.

How long it will take to receive the passport back once decision has been made??

Did the UKVI inform us once the documents are ready?? or only VISA application center (TLS) will contact us.

I am a bit worried as it is already 17 working days

I am in tbe same boat and have been waiting for documents for last 7 days as I received email last thursday that application has been processed and today is friday but still not recieved any message from visa appljcation center.

Its been more than 4 weeks since my decision for Tier 2 Gener Visa was made but haven't gotten my passport yet.

I am also in the same situation. Decision taken on 18th June 2017. No SMS from VFS chennai yet.

kram90, gauravbatra, kum123 - When did you all receive the passport ? Did anyone of you apply for priority visa ?

I applied for my visa on 4th Aug and still waiting for visa. I called UKVI and they advised that the decision was taken on 15th Aug but still no further communication

Well, I applied on 27th July and got back my passport on 16th of August, however, my family is still waiting for their passports as the decision was made on the same day. After the decision is made, it is going to take 10 working days to get the passport and documents back. If you call UKVI in this period, they will NOT help so don't spend money. Wait is the only thing you can do as I am in the same boat. I called and got nothing and lost hard earned money!
