Live outside UK for consecutive months on Tier 2 VISA

Hi,

I am currently on T2 VISA with an option to work remotely. I have read on internet about "180 days in 12 consecutive months" information but unable to find any information specifically related to my situation.

Is it possible to me to live outside UK for 2 months consecutively, keeping in mind that I would be working.

I'm thinking to take 28 days holidays and stay outside for another month but I would be working in that month.

T2 what category? general or ICT?

For ICT you can stay outside for whatever time you need and still enter as long as your visa is valid. ICT Sponsors do not cancel their sponsorship and inform home office. They bring and send employees based on project availability. They can change the cos and assign new one with new client.

Thats only for ICT.

180 days in 12 months is requirement when you apply for ILR.

But as long as you are continuing in payroll and still in same role with same employer, you should be able to enter back any time during your visa period as long as your sponsor has not cancelled your visa.

Yeah, employer is allowing me remote work for 1 month so, combining 28 days holidays and 1 month remote work.

Hence, outside of UK for 2 consecutive months. Should be alright?

Yes this should be fine.

My employer hasn't asked from Home Office. It's just verbally that I can work from home for a month. Is this something he must ask from HO?

No need.
It is a flexibility given by your employer. Need not be communicated to HO.
Assume that you are working on your vacation.
