General tier 2 extension

Hi,

Currently, I am on the General Tier 2 visa, due to expire in Septemeber 2021 (3 years), my questions are,

1) When I will be applying for an extension for 3 years, will my company has to follow the lengthy process of publishing the job add, then waiting for the COS to be issued again based on the salary PBS?

2) Also if there is any change in my designation or salary, do I need to inform the HMRC?

No employer doesn't need to publish the job again as long as you are staying in the same job, as far as I aware employer can issue COS anytime for the extension.


Yes, need to inform UKVI if salary change particularly changes just for you. If your job profile changed or responsibility etc you must need to apply for a new Visa based on your new job profile.

what you mean by "if salary change particularly changes just for you"? as the appraisal will happen across the company.
