Supplementary NHS work in between visas

Post by Botman » Sat Jun 13, 2020 4:04 pm

Hi everyone. I have resigned from my job and my last day of work will be 2 July. My current brp is valid till August.

I have received certificate of sponsorship from my next employer but have not applied visa yet as waiting for IHS to be scrapped and appointments to become available.

My question is can i do supplementary work for July - during the period after my end of my job if :

1) i have not applied next visa yet (but my brp is valid till mid August)

2) if I apply next visa but it is not approved yet (home office said we can start work with next employer as long as visa application is submitted, it doesn’t have to be approved. Not sure if same applies for previous employer)

Please consider home office has also made current exceptions for NHS workers to do supplementary work without 20 hours weekly limit during pandemic.

Thanks muchly.
