Will applying for job seeker allowance notify the home office?

Post by bubbletea24 » Fri May 24, 2024 3:02 am

Hi,

I quit my job recently and am being quite cautious about my visa circumstances, as I read that people may not receive a curtailment letter for quite a few months.

I am thinking of applying for the job seeker allowance, however, I am not sure if claiming this benefit will notify the home office and make them prioritise curtailing my visa, as I do need more time to find a job.

Hope someone can answer my question, thanks in advance!

Is JSA not considered as public funds?
What visa route were you on previously that gave you access or recourse to public funds?

You will not qualify for income based JSA but may qualify under new system of JSA

As for speeding up visa cancellation- lap of the Gods stuff
