Entry Clearance Stamp has an incorrect date

I hope someone can help! Who would we contact to have the date corrected the an Entry Clearance stamp? A friend's son is due to enrol at his UK school on 2nd September and his Indian passport has been returned with Entry Stamp: 08/10/2020 instead of 10/08/2020.
