STUDENT VISA APPLICATION STATUS “CASE CLOSED” MEANING

HELLO EVERYONE!! what does it mean when they say application is closed. I did interview on the 15th October and was asked to contact my school to write Uk home office if they’d allow me travel to enroll if my visa was approved because my deadline was 16th. After writing Essex to notify them of this, they extended my deadline to 1st November and also wrote Uk home office about it. Only for me to call embassy to know my application status and they’re telling me my application is closed. They even asked if I withdrew or cancelled my application.

Anyone here who can advise and tell me what they think, coz these people are messing with my head.

I understand. I just want to know if anyone has been in a situation like this before and what the outcome was like because, at this point, I don't understand what is going on. It's exhausting!
