University Exam Appeal

Hey there, Please do help me out here. I'm currently appealing my Exam board descisions on the grounds of medical reasons. They have decided to transfer me from Msc to PGT because i failed 3 modules in my 3rd semester and that did not give the required credits to pass (90). I'm appealing this and asking for a chance to resit this in the next digest so i can work on submit my dissertation whenever requried.

Questions
1) Can I extend my student visa if needed?
2) Can my University help me in this situation with the appeal? (just wanted opinions)
3) If the appeal does not go through, can i still stay and take the resits and submit my disseration. I do not mind extending my visa if thats the case?

1) Can I extend my student visa if needed?

Yes, if the university agrees to sponsor an extension for re-sits. You need to ask them about that.

2) Can my University help me in this situation with the appeal? (just wanted opinions)

There will probably be someone there who guides students through academic appeals. Again, you will need to ask who that is.

3) If the appeal does not go through, can i still stay and take the resits and submit my disseration. I do not mind extending my visa if thats the case?

It depends, and is both an academic and visa sponsorship matter. Once again, these are questions for the university.
