Switch to a new student visa from previous

Hi all
Im current enrolled in to master program at Staffordshire University. I want to take admission in another course for September 2024 in PGCE in Liverpool Hope university. Course start on 9 September 2024 and my results from Staffordshire Uni. will be announced in October 2024.
i got offer from Liverpool hope university, they said that you can not switch to another sponsor on awaiting results. As my submissions will be done by September.
this is the message i received from uni
"Hi xxx. I have checked with my manager and you can not switch sponsor providers while you are still awaiting results. I am not a trained immigration advisor, but it may be an idea to look at the Graduate Route Visa, then apply for the PGCE for September 2025 entry and switch to a student visa (under current rules). Would this be an option you would take? "
im looking for guidance regarding the possibility of me getting in September 2024 program rather than next year.
