Student Dependent who applied before on HSMP

Post by shughal » Wed Feb 18, 2009 11:57 pm

Hi,
I am a student here and my wife applied on HSMP from Pakistan in last year and got refusal and now i am going to apply her visa and 2-months baby as a Student Dependent from Islamabad. In the forms VAF3 there is a question:
"5.6 Have you made an application to the Home Office to remain in the UK in the last 10 years?"
I am really confused what to write here, yes or no. Because she applied for HSMP as an unmarried woman and now she is being shown as a wife with a baby.Plz advise. What would happen if i write 'NO'.

Yes,

because she is still the same person even though she has got married.

If you write no, her application will most likely be refused and she will receive a ban on travelling to the UK, your baby too. Just write yes.
