anyone studied at brooks college before?

Please share your current visa status on the visa.

I applied for one and got rejected and I've heard many of them still waiting for the appeal date. Is that true?

BUT YOU SAID THAT YOU DID NOT APPEAL AND LEAVE THE COUNTRY SO YOU SHOULD NOT WORRY ABOUT IT BUT IF THIS COLLEGE WAS BOGUS THEN YOU MIGHT HAVE PROBLEMS IN GETTING TIER1 VISA .

Yes I did not appeal against it and I'm sure the college is not bogus cause I used to study there but it's closed now so I'm a bit worried that it might affect my upcoming visa.

Since the college you studied in is closed, chances are slim for you to be granted a Tier-1 Visa. All the best anyway..

Don't worry because as i think your master's or bachelor degree will not be from brooks college, only thing can affect your application is your previous refusal because as you said that many of them are waiting for appeal it means brooks college is under investigation so i think you should wait for the outcome of investigation ,as your application can be refused because home office will think that you during your previous stay studied at bogus college but if other people win their appeals it means it was ok then you will be fine.
By the way why did not you go for appeal and what was the reason for withdrawal of your college?
If you were not involved you should be fine. did you asked other guys who are waiting for appeals that why is like that?
