Student visa extension while wait for results.

hi there,

I am doing MBA, near to complete. Just need to submit final dissertation in last week of November 2010. The problem is that my student visa is expiring in the end of November 2010, just after 6 days of submission of dissertation. My results will come in the mid of January 2011.

I contacted college management for issuance of a letter for student visa extension, but they refused to give any kind of letter with the reason that until my visa expiry I will finish my course and they cannot give any letter for student visa extension just to wait for results.

Please advice me what should I do?

Submit dissertation and fly back home before expiry of leave.
