Can a student marry and become dependant

Hi any one Please advice me.
I am a Srilankan.Me and my fiancee are in student visa now. we are going to marry this month i would like to change her visa as a dependant. My visa expires in December 10. Afterwards i want to apply for PSW since i have completed my studies in Last June. is it possible? if possible howmuch fund i have to show and for how long?
