Need Immediate Help Regarding My Student Visa Expire Date !

Post by Sham123 » Fri Jan 07, 2011 12:44 pm

Hello Guys,

I was accepted to AIU University in The United Kingdom, When I had applied for my student visa it got too late to come (it took 17 working days) by the time i got my visa my University denied to accept me for 2010 October intake (My visa was issued on 4th of October 2010r for 4 years). I was asked to join for January intake, my University started on January 3rd, I was fallen sick last week(Flu) due to that i couldn't fly to the United Kingdom. Somehow I spoke to my University and got 1 week extension till 10th of January(I have the letter from University confirming my one week extension) which is coming Monday. Now my problem is one of my friend told that i can't fly because my visa was expired on 04th of January 2010, its been 3 months since i got my visa. I'm hoping to fly on this Sunday and I'm worried over this issue weather I'll have problem in Immigration ??? can somebody advise me on this issue and do I have to submit any other documents ???

Thank You !

Whatever you are stating here, you may need to state double then this to immigration staff at airport. So be ready for this and keep everything related to your admission in your hand luggage. i.e. every communication / emails / CAS and Embassy letters / educational docs etc. I recommend you that get sickness certificate from your doctor as well and attach it with your extension letter, also attach your University Oct'10 intake refusal letter. These 'three' docs will be the most helpful documents.

I hope it will be fine as you got University letter for extension.

thats what happen when people hear something from a "friend" i.e idiot and believe every word of it without bothering to look into the matter themselves!

google and Bing is your friend. dont be afraid of them!
