Bank Account Statement query

Hello,
I would be applying for Tier 4 visa soon for doing my MBA in UK.
As far as Maintenance funds are concerned, is it possible that I can show the funds in a bank account in UK? The bank account is jointly held by my wife and I. Do you guys think this can cause a problem?
I can arrange for original paper statements from the bank.

Any help will be much appreciated.

If you submitt original bank statements you should be fine.
