Immigration history and tier 4visa

Post by Aziz0201 » Wed Jun 29, 2022 9:08 pm

one of the section, it is asked whether I have been refused, deported or asked to leave the UK or any other country...etc. In 2020, I was working in Russia and I got stuck there during the pandemic which forced me stay more than my visa was allowed, but the Russian government lifted deportation or didn’t make us subject to removal but granted the right to leave by sept 30 as shown in the article. I wasn’t asked about it or fined either in the airport when we were evacuated. Therefore, I put no in my answer in my application, but I don’t know if it will be a problem. I am scared!

Maybe. If in doubt why did you not just say yes, and explain, as you did here?

I wasn’t well-informed about how I should approach my case, and when I read it, my case wasn’t listed and I didn’t know if it applied. My visa expired 30th of June 2020 and I had to live the country in 29 July 2020, but we were allowed to stay as I said without subject to removal so I wasn’t removed.

I got my visa. What should I do now?

Post by Aziz0201 » Thu Aug 04, 2022 10:54 am

Hello everyone,

I am so happy because I got my UK tier 4 visa after waiting for 5+ weeks. It has been a 2 years journey.

Now, I am planning my arrival to the UK.

My visa starts on the 10th of September and course is on the 19th of September. From what I understood, I will have to collect my BRP and register with the police.

However, I would like to advantage of the opportunity to explore the UK before starting my course on the 19th. Do you think it is feasible to do that while exploring the UK?

My university is in Hull, but I would like to visit London for a while.

What do you advise me to do?

That free airport pickup upon arrival looks very handy, it also will help to save some good money in transportation.
